"Toolkit" Developed by KRA Subject of DOL Webinar

On April 16, 2014, the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA) is hosting a webinar featuring a resource document developed by KRA Corporation.

Written by a team of KRA case management, training and technical assistance, and youth development professionals, Improving Services and Performance: Toolkit for Effective Front-Line Services to Youth provides information and techniques for implementing a youth employment program from recruitment to evaluation.

The “Toolkit”, which KRA employs in its Youth Services Programs, consists of a Manual that provides information about preparing youth to become increasingly more self-sufficient, and Training Tools presented in nine modules, each of which includes presentation slides, group exercises, and a training guide.

As DOL/ETA states in the webinar announcement, “The Toolkit has been an essential resource for the public workforce system since 2007.  This session will pull out the hidden gems in the Toolkit and provide easy to follow tips…for putting them to use at the local level!”

KRA joins DOL/ETA in encouraging youth development, employment, and training development professionals to use the Toolkit to improve youth programming services.
