KRA’s Staley Wins Second NAWDP Board Re-election

KRA Vice President & Director of Client Services, Kimberly Staley, CWDP, has won re-election to her seat on the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) Board of Directors, her third term representing the State of Connecticut.

Kim StaleyKim won her first Board election in 2011, and reflecting now on two successful re-elections, commented, “I’m truly humbled and honored to be able to continue serving my State and our industry in this capacity.

I’m particularly excited about NAWDP’s New Emerging Professionals Program, which gives us ‘veterans’ an opportunity to mentor and support younger [35 and under] workforce services professionals as they grow and advance in their careers.”

In addition to Board responsibilities, Kim serves as the Director of CTWorks, a multi-site American Job Center program offering WIOA/TANF Services operated by KRA for Capital Workforce Partners (CWP), and chairs the NAWDP Membership Committee, which is currently launching a major drive that will greatly impact both NAWDP and the industry it represents.

At a recent teambuilding and program-year kick-off event at CTWorks, Knowlton R. Atterbeary,  President & CEO, acknowledged Kim, the recipient of the President’s Award at the 2014 KRA Awards Gala, as “truly an asset to the CWP contract, KRA Corporation, and the entire workforce development industry.”
