KRA's Rayos Accepts Invitation to Join CMC Advisory Group

Maylynne Rayos, CWDP, Training Account Coordinator, San Diego Metro Region Career Centers–operated by KRA for the San Diego Workforce Partnership–has been invited by the California Medical College (CMC) to join its all-volunteer Institutional and Occupational Advisory Board Committee.

San Diego - CMC - 298x163CMC, one of the largest WIOA-approved Training Providers, offers occupational education and certification for in-demand Allied Health Industry positions, including Home Health Aides;  Nursing Assistants; Insurance & Coding Specialists; and EKG, Pharmacy, and Professional Medical Technicians.

Maylynne reported, “I manage all training-component funds, processing documentation–applications, assessments, etc.–for our customers needing to subsidize their  job training through WIOA-funded Individual Training Accounts, or employer-supported Customized Training and On-the-Job Training Programs.  I am honored to have been invited by CMC,  and excited about making a real contribution.”

As a Board Committee member, Maylynne will provide feedback on student-recruitment activities; verify that occupational-skills programs are congruent with CMC’s mission and local employment needs; and review training curriculum and instructional equipment used in the Allied Health Training Programs.
