Yesterday, the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) uploaded a video, The Role of Advocacy in Workforce Development, to its YouTube channel, featuring Don L. Scott, Esquire, KRA Senior Vice President for Workforce Operations.
Don, who has served as Chair of the NAWDP Board of Directors, and on the Executive Committee of the California Workforce Association, was interviewed by Dr. Gwen Schiada, a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years’ experience working with individuals in therapeutic settings and in systemic change roles at the local, state and Federal levels.

With KRA since 2002, Don oversees Business and Career Services, offered through WIOA One-Stop/American Job Centers and “Workfare” Services, provided through TANF Programs. A former Naval officer, he has 15 years’ workforce development experience, and as an expert in performance-based program design, infuses high expectations and standards in all areas of KRA operations.
