KRA Exhibits and/or Sponsors Five Conferences During WDM

In 2005, the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) created Workforce Development Month (WDM) to raise awareness about the importance of the workforce-services industry. In 2012, NAWDP “moved” the designation from May to September.

During WDM, teams of up to six KRA employees—comprised of a diverse cross-section of both corporate and program staff—represented the company at five major industry events.

Between September 3rd and 18th, members of the KRA Conference Team participated in three State and Regional Conferences:

  • California Workforce Association (CWA) Meeting of the Minds, September 3-5, for which KRA was a Silver Sponsor and Host of the official Podcast, KRA’s THE HUB. Kyla Guyette, Director, Strategic Partnerships, who facilitated the Podcast, captured diverse perspectives and key takeaways from thought leaders across the workforce system. Stay tuned for the upcoming release of exclusive insights from the event!
  • City & State PA, Economic Trends Reshaping the Workforce in Pennsylvania, September 10, Harrisburg, PA.
  • KRA served as a Bronze Sponsor for the Fall Conference of the Southeastern Employment & Training Association (SETA), September 15-18, Savannah, GA.

Our Conference Teams will be attending two more State-sponsored events between September 19th and the 26th:

  • Ohio Workforce Association (OWA) Annual Workforce Training Conference, September 19-20, Lewis Center, OH
  • Maryland Workforce Association (MWA) Raising the Bar, September 24-26, Hanover, MD, for which KRA is a Podcast Sponsor and Exhibitor.

Patrick Boxall, EVP&CSO, commented, “It is critical, for KRA’s continued success as a national leader in workforce-development services, that we take full advantage of the access to diverse workforce-services experts, to exposure to new programs and services, and to opportunities for networking with industry colleagues and peers that these conferences provide.”

The KRA family is always open to welcoming new members to share in our Vision and support our Mission.  Several opportunities include:
