Celebrating National Black Business Month

A Message from Kenya Roberson, Executive Director, NLBCC

Dear Members and Friends,

Since our inception in 2021, the Northeast Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce has proudly served businesses across 13 parishes in Northeast Louisiana. Our mission has always been to foster growth and sustainability for all of our members, from start-ups to established businesses. We believe that when our members thrive, our communities flourish, and that’s what drives us every day.

This year, we were especially excited to embrace one of our newest members, KRA, into our Chamber’s village. KRA has shown a remarkable dedication to expanding their reach, and we were thrilled to be a part of their journey as they stretched their services across the 13 parishes we serve. Their initiatives are not just aligned with our values, but they also reflect the spirit of collaboration and empowerment that the Chamber stands for.

As we continue to move forward, we remain committed to assisting all of our members in reaching their fullest potential. Together, we can create lasting success and ensure that businesses in Northeast Louisiana thrive for many years to come.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement with the Chamber. We look forward to celebrating more successes with you as we continue this journey.

With gratitude,

Kenya Roberson
Executive Director
Northeast Louisiana Black Chamber of Commerce

Derrick Colbert, Director, Strategic Partnerships, commented, “As a member of the Chamber, KRA Corporation is excited to support fellow business members in connecting them with a trained and reliable workforce to fulfill their short- and long-range labor needs through our partnership with the Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services, making Northeast Louisiana’s 13 parishes more economically stronger and vibrant communities.”
