Our Spotlight! is shining brightly on the KRA Motivated and Moving Forward Tour 2017, the goal of which is to assess the effectiveness of our corporate-wide Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Initiative—The KRA Way: Changing the Game & Raising the Bar!
To maintain its status as a high-performing organization, KRA has adopted The Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence system, and over the past several years, introduced new programs related to one or more Baldrige principles, i.e., (external) customer and (internal) workforce focus; leadership; measurement, analysis, and knowledge and process management; strategic planning; and last, but most critical to our CQI success, results.
Last month, and continuing in March, Knowlton R. Atterbeary, President & CEO, is visiting KRA program sites across the country, holding open forums with local staff to inform—how KRA is Motivated and Moving Forward in 2017, and to listen—how are we doing; what can we do better; and what role can you play to ensure our continued success?
Covering many important topics, for the benefit of both veteran and new staff, Mr. Atterbeary reviewed KRA’s Quality and Customer Service Model and improved new-employee On-boarding Program, and encouraged staff to join one or more of the newly-formed CQI Action Teams—Advancing Technology, Communications/Social Media, Innovative Workforce Services, and Staff Development/Employee Experience. Also, he provided a preview of a new, innovative professional-development program, the KRA Online Learning Center, which is planned for launch this month.
KRA is celebrating success on many levels, including incredible program expansion.
