In April 2016, we reported the launch of Searching in San Diego, the official blog of the San Diego Metro Centers—operated by KRA for the San Diego Workforce Partnership—that provides on-demand access to the most up-to-date workforce information and resources of interest to both jobseekers and employers.
Diana Saldivar, KRA Social Media Coordinator & Trainer, who also moderates the podcasts, has indicated that they are essential to “our continuing objective to stay connected to our career-seekers, business partners, and other Metro Region workforce-development stakeholders.”
In the past 9 month, KRA/San Diego has aired 24 podcasts, some of the most recent featuring A Job Seeker’s Story – Finding the Right Job for You; Job Search Tips From an HR Director; What You Need to Know About Pursuing Federal Jobs; and How Veterans Can Use LinkedIn in Their Job Search.
