Recently, Bridget Brown, Executive Director of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) congratulated KRA President & CEO, Knowlton R. Atterbeary, on being selected as the 2016 recipient of its prestigious Peter E. Kaiser Leadership Award!
This honor is one of only five meritorious Advancing the Profession Awards bestowed by NAWDP annually to recognize workforce-services professionals—in this case, a “visionary leader”—who are making exceptional contributions to the Workforce Development industry.
When informed of the NAWDP Awards Committee’s selection, Mr. Atterbeary responded spontaneously, “Wow! This is a surprise that is both humbling and flattering. I am pleased, of course, to be the award recipient, but it was only made possible by the faith and trust placed in me by the KRA family, of which I am extremely proud. To be the KRA team lead is a special honor, and a privilege that I do not take lightly.”
Mr. Atterbeary will accept the award on May 25th at an Awards Celebration & Luncheon at the NAWDP Annual Conference in Orlando, FL.
