Tokunbo enrolled in KRA/PGWorks Non-custodial Parent Employment Program—operated for the Prince George’s County Department of Social Services—as a result of delinquent child-support payments. And, even after intensive career and workplace-preparation training, job-placement efforts were hindered repeatedly by Tokunbo’s multiple health and medical challenges.
However, all that changed when Rhonda Feimster, Senior Career Agent, invited new business partner, Transdev North America , to conduct onsite job interviews. Of the customers screened, Tokunbo—the second KRA/PGWorks placement—was selected for a Driver Training Program at $10.00/hour during training and $14.00/hour post-training.
