There was a pronounced shift from print to digital media in the first 20 years of this century, and as we reflect on our first newsletter, KRA Today—which debuted in 1995—we bear witness to the profound impact this movement has had over the past 29 years.
KRA Today served as a tangible touchpoint with our clients, community partners, employees, and industry collaborators, embodying reliability and trust. Through the newsletter, we highlighted our R&E expertise, e.g., KRA Evaluates New Hampshire School-to-Work Program, as well as our expanding workforce-services operations, e.g., KRA Wins Another Kentucky Youth-Services Contract.
Though we continued to print until 2003, KRA offered an e-mail option in 2000, until 2010 when we posted individual articles as Latest News on our Home Page.
Fast-forwarding to 2023, although we embrace our SoMe platforms, e.g. LinkedIn and other digital-marketing venues, newsletters continue to play a vital role in KRA’s business-communications options and strategies. Therefore, in January 2023, we launched KRA@Work, an e–newsletter, focusing on the talents, trends, and triumphs of workforce-community partners.
We are grateful for the opportunity to provide company updates, leading the charge on DEI and other industry-related concerns, addressing the struggles of today’s workforce while preparing for the future, and reflecting our commitment to the workforce-development community in every article we create.
