KRA Senior Staff Present at 2019 NAJA Conference Between June 18th – 20th, three corporate staff members conducted six Breakout Sessions at the 2019 Conference of the National Association of Job Training Assistance, the premier resource for “Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, and Training…for Workforce Development Grantees, Grantors and Subs.” The 3-day workshop agenda was intensive, offering only 12 Program- and 12 Fiscal- Track Sessions, meaning that KRA presented 25% of all NAJA Breakouts, with Zaskia Ruiz, KRA Director of Finance, Accounting, and Compliance, conducting 33% of the Fiscal-Track presentations! Timothy L. Wright, Manager Corporate Quality Assurance

Since 2007, Tim has been responsible for monitoring the operational performance and quality of KRA-program contracts and subcontracts.  He has 20+ years’ civilian and military experience in quality-assurance standards and compliance, program and budget management, data analysis, and related staff training and development.  As the administrator of KRA’s PRIME performance reporting system, Tim develops corporate-wide tracking and reporting procedures for WIOA and TANF contracts, as well as customer-specific initiatives, e.g., Disability Employment, Non-Custodial Parent Employment, and Ticket To Work programs. One year ago today, the Maryland Secretary of Labor, Licensing and Regulation announced that the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) had received a $5M demonstration grant, part of a $22M nationwide USDOL grant to seven urban areas with high youth unemployment, “to develop innovative job training strategies and work opportunities for at-risk youth and young adults.” Industries targeted in the Federal grant  included Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology, and Transportation/Logistics.
