KRA Employee Produces Videos for NAWDP

In support of a workshop facilitated by Kimberly Staley, Program Manager, KRA/CTWorks, Greater Hartford Region in North Central Connecticut, at the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals’ (NAWDP) Annual Conference held last May, Joseph L. KRA/CWP Team Presents at National Industry Conference

Twenty-five KRA staff attended the 2011 National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) Conference in Virginia Beach, Virginia, May 16-19, 2011.  Approximately 800 professionals from across the country had gathered to discuss strategies to “Turn the Tide” in our industry despite the great economic challenges we face. On March 3, 2011, KRA/CTWorks’ Courtney Juday, WIA (Workforce Investment Act) Career Agent and Charles Botts III, Lead Job Developer, presented the “Coach Approach” at the New England National Association of Workforce Developers Conference at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was reported previously that a KRA Corporation/CTWorks management team conducted a workshop on the innovative FIRST (Focus, Intensive, Re-employment, Success, Training) Program model to an SRO crowd at the NAWDP conference in New Mexico.
