Last month, Kenneth Sales, Business Services Team Lead, KRA/Waccamaw Region SCWorks One-Stop, was nominated for the Outstanding Workforce System Partner Award by a long-standing and valued  workforce partner, Williamsburg Technical College (WTC)*.  Nominations are being reviewed currently by the State Investment Board, and all nominees will be acknowledged…and the 1st and 2nd place winners announced…at a Luncheon Awards Ceremony on May 14, 2013, as part of a State Workforce Symposium.  Also, Sales has been asked to lead a Symposium workshop, the focus of which will be “Effective Delivery of Business and Employer Services.”  Regardless of the outcome, all of KRA is proud of Sales, who has always been a winner…for KRA; its client, the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments; and the customers we serve.  Also, KRA is grateful to WTC for nominating Sales in recognition of his significant contribution to the Waccamaw Region’s workforce development system.
