For the second year in a row, a KRA Corporation employee has received the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals’ Jodi Spiegel Enhancement of Customer Service Award. Mary Hennessey, KRA Retention Specialist, is multi-credentialed—Certified Workforce Development Professional: Job Seeker Services; Certified Professional Resume Writer; Certified Motivation Career Coach—and, was for 4 years Site Coordinator for the Manchester One-Stop, one of four CTWorks’ sites operated by KRA for Capital Workforce Partners.
As a result of Mary’s outstanding leadership, in 2012, Manchester achieved a 95% customer satisfaction rate in a local survey, and received an award from Vernon Adult Education for the Center’s support of its programs. In 2013, she received the Patricia Mayfield Memorial CTWorks One Stop Workforce Professional Award for contributions to KRA/CTWorks.
Mary, who has more than 10 years’ experience in the industry, accepted the Award at the recent NAWDP Annual Conference, with more than 20 of her KRA colleagues looking on. She commented on the experience, “Receiving NAWDP’s Customer Service Award is truly an honor, and a humbling one at that. Every day, I am in the company of the most talented Workforce Development professionals in the country, and am in awe of the expertise of our KRA/CTWorks staff, who consistently deliver exceptional service to our jobseeker- and employer-customers.”
