Last year around this time, Latest News posted March Madness – The KRA Way—and the beat goes on! During the next 3 months, several KRA staff members will be hitting the road to conduct presentations and facilitate workshops; however, here we highlight the upcoming March events.
On the 10th, for the Southeastern Employment and Training Association (March 8-11, Myrtle Beach, SC), Joseph L. Seymour III, Corporate Training and Development Coordinator, will present The Art of 3-D Presentations: Develop, Design and Deliver. The description in the conference agenda reads, in part, “The ability to engage, educate, and empower others through well-developed, meticulously designed, and masterfully delivered presentations is one of the most sought-after skills in workforce development.”
In the afternoon, Seymour shares The Art and Science of Five-Star Customer Service in the AJC, one of his “signature” workshops, with this description in the agenda, “In an era of unprecedented customer-centered design, it is imperative that we, as an industry, begin to adopt the same approach in our programming and service delivery. A renewed focus on the customer experience, both program participants and employers, is one of the hallmarks of WIOA.”
On March 23rd, at the National Association of Workforce Boards Forum (March 21-24, Washington, DC), Melody Daniel, KRA Program Manager, PGWorks, and Sandy Mead, MedCerts National Director of Workforce Development, co-present Blended Learning for Job Seekers with Barriers to Employment focused on an incredibly successful healthcare-training program for SNAP and TANF customers in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
