KRA Recognized with 2024 Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation

Cigna Healthcare has selected KRA as a recipient of its 2024 Silver Healthy Workforce Designation for demonstrating a strong commitment to the mental and physical health, vitality, and well-being of our employees.

The message to KRA Senior Leaders, read, “Congratulations on achieving the Silver level of the 2024 Cigna Healthy Workforce DesignationTM. Your focus on the vitality of your workforce has paid off.  You have not only helped your employees to be healthier, but to be more productive and engaged.  Thank you for your efforts and for choosing Cigna Healthcare as a partner in supporting your well-being program.”

Zaskia Ruiz, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, stated, “We understand the important role employee well-being plays in our organization’s success and the relationship between healthy employees contributing to a more productive, satisfied workforce and positive business performance.”

For the Healthy Workforce Designation, Cigna evaluates organizations based on leadership and culture, program foundations and execution, policies and accommodations, and additional areas. Organizations recognized with this designation set the standard of excellence for organizational health and vitality.

Kalandria Thompson, People & Culture Manager, commented, “Cigna cited several core KRA components and accomplishments that resulted in our Designation, including:

  • Senior leadership is supportive of the well-being program through ongoing communication and promotional efforts;
  • Several programs/resources support various dimensions of well-being;
  • Several methods of communication promote our well-being program;
  • Several worksite policies and accommodations create a supportive culture and safe, healthy workspace; and
  • Mid-to-high range of metrics measure and evaluate the effectiveness of our well-being program.”
