KRA Partners with Local Organizations to Benefit Customers

KRA staff volunteered to organize a series of informational workshops for our Camden program participants. Co-sponsors represented local large businesses, small enterprises, and not-for-profit organizations. PNC Bank provided presentations on personal finances, credit repair, and the impact of credit history on employment searches. The CPR/AED Public Awareness and Training Network conducted workshops on CPR, first aid, and family emergency preparedness. And, Images and Attitudes presented professional dress-for-success workshops, during which they conducted a Q&A segment on what to and what not to wear to job interviews. During the presentations, customers were very candid about challenges they face purchasing personal hygiene items. KRA offered support services to everyone who expressed a need in this area, and distributed free personal care kits to customers.
