In March 2016, the San Diego County Career Centers—operated by KRA for the San Diego Workforce Partnership (SDWP)—launched Searching in San Diego, the official SDWP Podcast for up-to-date workforce-services information for both jobseekers and employers. More than 100 episodes have aired, many supported by KRA/SDWP Career- and Business-Services specialists, who contribute the benefit of their expertise.
However, for Episode 111: Women in the Workforce, a KRA corporate-level executive, Dr. Kordilia Noble, Director, Partnerships & Market Development, joined the program.
She discussed the impact COVID-19 has had on women, African American women in particular, as well as her perspective on the importance of access to leadership-development and formal-mentorship programs for women in the workplace.
Here are both audio and video links to the Podcast: Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube.
Dr. Noble possesses 20+ years’ experience in cultivating strategic workforce-development collaborations, and is the author of A Study of Leadership Development, Self-Efficacy and Career Readiness among African American/Black Women.
Her many industry-related memberships include NAWDP, SETA , and Metro Atlanta eXchange for Workforce Solutions, which earlier this month, interviewed her for its website’s Member Spotlight.
KRA congratulates Dr. Noble on her achievements!
