In March 2016, the San Diego Career Centers—partners in the American Job Center of California network, operated by KRA for the San Diego Workforce Partnership—launched Searching in San Diego, the official SDWP Podcast for on-demand access to the most up-to-date workforce-related information and resources for both job-seeking professionals and employers.
Highlighting “workforce topics, trends, and tips you need to know on the go”, KRA’s Diana Saldivar, Social Media & Communications Specialist, and Shadia Omer, Digital and Multimedia Coordinator, co-host the Podcast, supported by a team of Career Development, Business Services, Facilitation, and Special Projects Coordinators, whose own experiences, many times, contribute to episode development.
To date, 55 Podcasts have aired, the last half-dozen focusing on these eye-opening and motivating workforce-services topics:
