To support the local Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), KRA staff organized an event in which 23 students from seven counties served by KRA’s Kentucky project came together to participate in a community service project. In recognition of all the “helping hands” who work with the children who receive assistance from the CAC, the students applied their handprints in bright colors to a white canvas, and in so doing created a “painting” now on display at the CAC. Additionally, the students prepared 75 “care packages” that were distributed to children served by the CAC.
