The National Association of Job Training Assistance has created a dynamic line up of Speakers and Presenters for its 40th Annual National Conference in Atlanta, GA, May 13 – 17, 2024. Zaskia Ruiz, KRA Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, is an integral member of that line up! With KRA since 2017, she oversees the Accounting & Finance, Communications, People & Culture, and Program Operations Departments.
Despite this awesome responsibility, Zaskia makes herself available to share her 20+ years’ experience, conducting conference presentations and training workshops for CWA, NAWDP, and SETA in addition to NAJA for the last 10 years.
On May 14, 2024, 3:15 pm – 4:45 pm EST, Zaskia provides an overview of Audit Requirements per 2 CFR Part 200 Subpart F. through Preparing for Audits, with topics including: understanding audit requirements, required roles and responsibilities in the audit process, the history of the Single Audit, management’s response consequences for non-compliance, and audit resolution.
The session will also explore effective implementation of key requirements covered in fiscal sessions presented previously, addressing issues that attendees face currently as they adjust to a hybrid or complete fiscal virtual environment, including systems and training options that promote and support a proactive approach to “audit-ready” internal control environments.
Over the next 8 weeks, KRA will contribute as a Benefactor, Exhibitor, Presenter, and/or Sponsor to six Annual Conferences, Meetings, and Summits across the country in CA, DC, GA, MO, PA, TX, and VA! Next up is NAWDP’s 40th Annual Conference, May 20-22, at which Zaskia will present Revitalizing Fiscal: Strategies for Success Amidst Industry Changes, so stay tuned!
