KRA/San Diego Customer Career Path Headed in New Direction

Diana Saldivar, Career Centers Brand Manager, reports, that after Diana Lopez lost her job, she enrolled at the North County Coastal Career Center—one of six Centers operated by KRA for the San Diego Workforce Partnership—where she sought out training and found more resources than she expected. KRA Baltimore City Office Reopens Fully to Public

March 2020…Mandated COVID-19 restrictions forced KRA to close all its offices, which included the Work Participation, Placement, and Support Services Program that transitioned staff to a work-from-home status, and transferred individual- and group-participation activities to effective remote- and virtual-service venues. July 2020…As certain restrictions eased, KRA opened the Baltimore City office—in compliance with CDC Guidance—to individual customers, by appointment only.  In addition, we continued to provide remote-learning and virtual services for individuals and groups, as appropriate. KRA/Reno Organizes Live Job Fair & Career Expo

The American Job Center of Nevada (AJCN) is the hub of the comprehensive Reno-based One Stop Career Center (OSCC) system, operated by KRA for the NevadaWorks WDB collaboratively with an exceptional network of co-located  agencies including Nevada JobConnect, the Nevada DHHS, the Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation (DETR), and Truckee Meadows Community College, to name a few. On July 28, 2021, the AJCN hosted a Job Fair & Career Expo at the Reno Town Mall, which was buzzing with excitement generated by 225 jobseekers, numerous OSCC-partners, and 19 of the area’s leading employers…paying a minimum of $17.00 an hour!
