for Job Corps students, and we embrace DOL's 21st century vision
for Job Corps through:
-
Student exposure to high-growth industry sectors
- A
rigorous and relevant academic and career-technical curriculum
- Industry
and employer involvement in outreach and admissions, training
development and delivery, and post-center support, as well as
job placement
- Linkages
with education and training partners, such as local school districts,
One-Stop career centers, and supportive-service providers
- Clear,
measurable benchmarks of program success
