For New KRA/Camden Business Customer…It's Personal

When Kimberly Smith-Bristow, Program Manager, learned that Kleenland LLC was the new maintenance contractor for the building housing the Job Skills Training Directly Related to Employment Program, KRA-operated for the Camden County WIB, she lost no time requesting a meeting with Mark Benson, owner.

Within days, Kimberly met with Mr. Benson to discuss a business partnership, wherein KRA/Camden would provide Kleenland with a pipeline of qualified workers to fill open positions.  She reports, “Most of our jobseeker-customers are TANF recipients–which struck a personal chord with Mr. Benson, who was once a public-assistance recipient himself.”

Camden - Caution Wet FloorDedicated to helping others achieve self-sufficiency, and to meet expanding company workforce demands, Mr. Benson requested candidates, who could be ready to work with 1-day notice, for positions available at the KRA/Camden building, as well as other Kleenland facilities.  The day after his request, three candidate-referrals were hired!

Kimberly concluded, “As an additional gesture of commitment to KRA, Kleenland painted our entire office at no cost!  We are excited to have Mr. Benson as a new business partner, to recruit for immediate hiring needs on a large contract he is negotiating, and to support his future business development and expansion requirements.”
