Pre-screened candidates were interviewing for Administrative, Food Service, General Labor, Hospitality, Law Enforcement, Retail, and Security positions.  KRA Business Services Team members Robert Banks, Kevin Hillenburg, and Matt Lewis offered these comments:

  • “The McDonalds recruiter was very pleased with the turn out and the overall caliber of the candidates.   Seven customers are being considered for management positions!”
  • “The employers were very pleased with the potential employees they met.  Securitas Security scheduled eight candidates for second interviews.”
  • “We received wonderful feedback from the Baltimore City Police Department, and Boston Market felt this was a phenomenal event for them, hiring three customers on-the-spot.”

Yvette Clark, KRA Business Services Manager, concluded, “Only an event such as this can provide our jobseekers the opportunity to connect with 11 businesses in one day!  At the same time, provide our employers with a pool of 75 candidates for their openings!! With more than 15 on-the-spot hires, the Job Fair was such a success that the Team is planning to organize another one this summer!”
