Energy Data Collection Support Services.
KRA supported the Office of Coal, Nuclear, Electric, and Alternate Fuels (CNEAF) by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating energy statistics. CNEAF designs, develops, and maintains statistical and short-term forecasting systems for coal, nuclear, electric, and alternate fuels to meet the Nation's energy statistics needs. The project included the fulfillment of both short-term (operational procedures, operation of high-volume programs for the collection of historical data, and periodic quick-response crisis projects) and long-term (routine data collection, data reduction, automated energy data systems operation, and in-depth analysis of energy data) requirements of DOE's energy data program. KRA provided the following services: operational procedures development; analytical studies in specialized data-processing interpretation areas; information package development; database design and development; report preparation; and statistical analysis.
