Our Norfolk, Viginia ofice is looking for a Career Agent. The successful candidate will:
Support and assist clients with self-sufficiency goals by exploring opportunities to promote employability skills; perform assessments and assign customers to various employment service activities that will prepare with the transition from receiving government assistance to economic independence; developspecific plans for attainment of progress toward employment; support with job development activities; assist with eliminating barriers that divert employment goals; makes determination of continued eligibility of program based on policy and procedure; explore and evaluate the client’s education, training, work history, interest and skills to assist in making career decisions; and provide ongoing job placement and retention with the collection and or maintenance of case records and data relevant to program participation.
Job requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree with experience in human service, social work, counseling, psychology, or criminal justice. Candidates with substantial case management and or eligibility experience; a strong background in the delivery of services, the ability to read and interpret policy and procedures or related field preferred.

Requirements:
Education and Demonstrated Job Knowledge:

- Must understand and accept responsibility for performance of caseload
