Alisha Bazemore
Ms. Bazemore has more than 15 years’ experience in the workforce development and human service industry, 10 of which were spent operating programs for various municipal and state government agencies. She excels in developing and implementing assessment, skills training, and job placement programs for youth and adults. Ms. Bazemore currently serves as a project director for a Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Welfare-to-Work project.
Ms. Bazemore is a member of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) and the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. She holds an MA degree in Urban Education/Professional School Counseling and a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, both from Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia.
Linda Cooper
Ms. Cooper is an expert in youth development and WIA Youth Services Programs. She has guided the development of educational and work experience opportunities for thousands of economically disadvantaged young people, with a focus on youth in rural environments. Ms. Cooper has approximately 10 years’ experience as a KRA Project Manager, and before that worked as an Employment and Training Specialist, and Job Readiness Instructor.
Ms. Cooper earned her BA degree in Psychology and History from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky, and is currently working on an MA in Social Science degree with an emphasis in Psychology, Sociology, and Political Science.
Anita Davis
Ms. Davis brings to KRA more than 20 years’ experience in staff development, healthcare training, and case management in the workforce development arena. Ms. Davis joined the firm as a Job Coach, and today is one of KRA’s foremost experts on programming for job-seekers with limited or no work experience. She works with KRA field staff to structure programs that assess each customer’s individual and unique abilities and aptitudes, and to implement work experience, skills training, and job placement strategies accordingly. Ms. Davis currently manages TANF, general assistance, and WIA out-of-school youth programs.
Ms. Davis earned a BS degree in Human Resources/Organization Design from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and an AS degree in Business Administration from the Community College of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Gary S. Fletcher
Mr. Fletcher is an accomplished Workforce Development professional, and brings to KRA more than 15 years’ experience in business, workforce, and project development in several business sectors including biotechnology, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and transportation. He also has extensive experience in developing and managing education and training programs that meet the needs of underserved populations including disabled, incarcerated, military, minority, and senior citizens. Mr. Fletcher has served in several key managerial positions including Executive Director of a Workforce Investment Board.
Mr. Fletcher is an active member of more than a dozen civic, community, and professional organizations including the Richmond Youth Council, the Lt. Governors Disability Roundtable, Special Olympics, the National Student Partnership, the Richmond Human Services Cabinet, the National Center for Economics and Education; and the Greater Richmond Technology Council Committee on Workforce Development.
Mary Prince
Ms. Prince brings to KRA an impressive background in program development, implementation, and management. Cultivated over 30 years in the hospitality and telecommunications industries, Ms. Prince’s marketing, networking, program management, and public relations expertise gives her a valuable business-partner perspective on KRA’s workforce development programs. Ms. Prince also brings to KRA a wealth of experience with community and economic development. She currently sits on the Waccamaw Regional Education Center Advisory Board, and is the President Elect of the Georgetown Rotary Club. She previously served on the Board of Directors for four area Chambers of Commerce, and holds the distinction of being the first female President of the South Carolina Cable Television Association.
Ms. Prince studied Business Administration at Horry Georgetown Technical College in Georgetown, South Carolina, and Liberal Arts at Emanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
Krista Roberson
Ms. Roberson is a specialist in the planning, development, and implementation of WIA In-School and Out-of-School service programs. She provides guidance, leadership, and oversight for KRA field staff who provide workforce training to youth between the ages of 14-21. Ms. Roberson’s experience with implementing and managing youth development programs started more than 12 years ago as a Program Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Ms. Roberson is a member of NAWDP, the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She earned her MS degree in Management from Cambridge College, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and her BS degree in Human Service Counseling from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia.
Kimberly Staley
Ms. Staley’s expertise is invaluable to the leadership, management, and administrative oversight of KRA field staff involved in One-Stop operations. She has more than 18 years’ experience, including a dual position as Manager of Workforce and Delivery Systems and Director for a One-Stop in Virginia. Also, she was the Director of Workforce Development Programs for the Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College where she was responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of the College’s federally funded workforce development programs.
Ms. Staley received an MS degree in Education, with a major in Workforce Education and Development, from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois, and a BA degree from Howard University, Washington, DC. She is currently “ABD” for a PhD in Organizational Leadership from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, Maryland.
Kenneth Walker, Jr.
Mr. Walker began his KRA employment as a Career Agent and gained invaluable experience with TANF Welfare-to-Work, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training, Ex-Offender, and WIA Out-of-School Youth Training field operations. He has more than 5 years’ experience in education- and training-based program design, especially in case management and curriculum development for healthcare program operations. Mr. Walker currently manages an Allied Health training program.
Mr. Walker is a member of the NAWDP and the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, and holds a BS degree in Marketing and another BS in Finance, both from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia.
