Community Involvement

We are part of the communities we serve.

Since 1981, KRA Corporation has worked in hundreds of cities across the United States.  Our presence in these communities is not just to fulfill a contractual commitment.  Instead, we view it as a covenant to contribute our time and energy to support the regions in which we work…and live.

Community involvement is an integral component of our KRA core value of Responsibility.  You will often meet our team members volunteering at events and programs of the American Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels, USO, United Way, Wounded Warrior Support Network, and many more.  Local-area organizations include the DC Coalition for the Homeless, the George B. Thomas, Sr. Learning Academy Saturday School Program, and the Howard County Autism Society, to name a few.

In addition to the KRA Community Care Campaign, an annual company-wide initiative created in 2009 that celebrates the joy of giving and sharing good works with customers, partners, and neighbors, we encourage all local programs to initiate and/or participate in community activities and events throughout the year.
